Henrique Prudêncio (1991, Faro) is a director and film editor. He is trained in Acting at EPTC – Escola Profissional de Teatro de Cascais, graduating in 2010, and holds a degree in Documentary Film from Escola Superior de Tecnologia de Abrantes (2014). He is currently completing a Master’s degree in Film Project Development – Specialization in Cinematic Narratives at Escola Superior de Teatro e Cinema.

In 2013, he founded Onírico Filmes, an independent production company and author-driven platform through which he has directed and produced over fifty films, advertising projects, and music videos, many of which have been awarded and exhibited internationally. Within this trajectory, he was invited by JMI International to shoot a documentary in the United States and, in 2023, was awarded “Editor of the Year” by the Clube da Criatividade de Portugal, consolidating his recognition as both an author and editor.

He has worked as a film and commercial editor since 2013, collaborating with directors such as Marco Martins, Filipe Correia dos Santos, and Inês Sá Frias, among others. He is currently the Post-Production Coordinator at MauMauMia, the in-house production company of the new television channel Conta Lá, where he supervises creative and technical processes on large-scale audiovisual projects.
